Nightly route

Janitorial service for Charlotte offices, warehouses and schools

The full after hours round, run by the same crew each visit: offices, restrooms, floors, glass and high touch disinfection on one schedule.

Chapter 01

What a nightly route actually covers

A janitorial contract is one route, not six separate products. On a normal visit that means offices dusted and vacuumed, bins emptied, restrooms sanitized and restocked, high touch surfaces disinfected, and hard floors and glass kept on their own cycle inside the same round.

Office cleaning, restroom sanitization, floor care and maintenance, window and glass cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, and disinfection work are all part of the standing round. Which of them happens nightly and which rotates weekly depends on the building and the traffic it takes.

Where nightly cleaning quietly fails

The failures in this trade are rarely dramatic. High touch areas get missed in the gap between deep cleans. Restroom supplies run out before anybody reports it. A traffic lane dulls months before the rest of the floor needs stripping, and by then the finish has been walked through rather than maintained.

Those are the things a route is built to catch. Knowing which corridor dulls first in a particular building is the difference between a maintained floor and one that needs rescuing.

Chapter 03

Working around a building that is still open

Most of this work happens after your people go home, which is why the phone is answered around the clock. Keys, alarm codes and access arrangements are handled the same way every visit, and the crew that covers your building stays the crew that covers your building.

Schedules run from daily through weekly, with one off deep cleans where a space needs resetting rather than maintaining.

Who answers when something is wrong

Commercial Maintenance Specialist is owned and operated by Hap Clayton, and it is a small family business. When something has been missed, the escalation is a person rather than a ticketing system.

One customer put it plainly in a review: if there is ever a problem, you can get the owner on the phone and it gets handled.
